Bellamere Winery & Event Centre and Union Ten Distillery are looking for part-time Banquet Servers both seasonally and year round.

This role will support Bellamere and Union Ten during our busy summer and fall event filled seasons

The Role
As a Banquet Server, your primary responsibility is to help us ensure our weddings and events go off without a hitch This means you:

  • Act as a welcoming and gracious host to all guests and team members
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and team members
  • Serve food and beverages to guests according to Bellamere and Union Ten's
- guidelines and specifications

  • Clear/clean tables according to Bellamere and Union Ten's guidelines and
- specifications

  • Support with preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure all guests are
- served promptly and efficiently

  • Be familiar with the menu, food and plating for the assigned function, including guest allergies
  • Respond quickly to guest concerns, communicating with the Banquet Captains as needed
  • Work according to all of Bellamere and Union Ten's health and safety standards
  • Support with other duties as may be required

What you bring to the table:

  • Availability to work mid-week, weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from Bellamere and Union Ten
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching and mentorship
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff
  • Able to work in a predominately standing position for long periods of time
  • Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food or dishes when necessary
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes
- following Bellamere and Union Ten's uniform policies

  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a bonus, but not required

About Union Ten Distillery


You will find our Distillery, Union Ten housed in a historic building in the heart of London's artisanal, Old East Village.

Original brickwork, repurposed cast iron windows, a live-edge bar with our copper still and stone oven all offer an industrial ambience with modern amenities.

Within our unique space, we at Union Ten bring something a little different to the London Wedding scene.

Rather than a traditional setting, our goal is to have you enjoy an evening of delicious food presented on stations, with interesting cocktails at our bar, all while socializing with your family and friends.

It is the perfect atmosphere for an evening of celebration.

Part-time hours: 12-24 per week


Salary:
$16.55 per hour
