    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role based in Saskatoon, SK, with the flexibility for some remote work. As a junior structural designer, your main duties will be structural design and drafting. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative in the execution of your work. You will be able to solve problems with supervisory input from lead engineers and senior design staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Structural Modeling, Drafting & Design Using Autodesk products (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor)
    • Reading and understanding technical documentation, including vendor drawings, specifications, design criteria and datasheets
    • Assisting with material take-offs and estimating tasks, when required

    Qualifications

    This position requires demonstrated strength of leadership and proven time management capabilities. Your knowledge of the mining sector and your technical expertise will round out your qualifications for this position.

    Key Knowledge & Experience

    0 to 4 years of experience are required for this position. Experience working in the consulting field with practice in design, drafting and 3D CAD is essential. Heavy industrial exposure would also be an asset, especially in mining and, more specifically, potash mining.

    Specialized experience in the following software would also be considered an asset; Revit, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Inventor, and Microsoft Office. Other programming expertise would be very beneficial.

    Salary Range

    $61,000 - $71,000
