Our Marketing team seeks a Regional Markets Activation Manager to offer strategic and tactical support to the Toronto office and Office Managing Partner (OMP) / Managing Partner for Toronto driving growth and strengthening client relationships through program execution.

Success in this role hinges on effective leadership, building strong internal relationships, and delivering activation strategies that elevate our brand and engage clients, while continually evolving our tactics to ensure success.


As an important link between teams, you will collaborate closely with the OMP and local leadership teams in the Toronto office.

Your role will involve strategically proposing and implementing activation strategies that align with our goals of engaging our people, activating our local area market, and enabling our market segments.

Through fostering a broad range of relationships, you will bring together the right individuals, sectors, service lines, and accounts, promoting collaboration, leveraging synergies, and sharing best practices.


Your key responsibilities:


People Engagement

  • Collaborate with the OMP to develop an ongoing plan for people engagement at the local office, focusing on effective communications and impactful events.
  • Take a leading role in suggesting strategies and implementing actions to engage our employees at the local office, fostering a positive work environment and supporting their professional development.
  • Make recommendations and implement strategies to engage and empower employees at the local office to further build an inclusive work environment where professional growth is supported.
  • Working closely with Brand, Marketing & Communication (BMC) team to manage the delivery of the annual people engagement plan.

Local Markets Planning

  • Collaborate with Marketing members leading Sectors activations to activate strategies in the local market.
  • Contribute to a rolling planning process, ensuring visibility to relevant Sectorbased initiatives, and providing local input into national plans.
  • Together with the Toronto OMP, facilitate the annual strategic planning process for the Toronto office.
  • Directly collaborate with leaders across EY Canada to support an integrated growth strategy at a local level.
  • Foster collaboration with colleagues in Brand, Marketing, and Communications to strategize and execute powerful activations that contribute to account growth and cultivate strong relationships with Csuite executives
  • Collaborate with Regional Markets Activation Managers to share best practices and learnings.
  • Performing adhoc analysis of performance, working with different groups to gather data and identify areas of improvement or concern.

Local Activation Enablement

  • Build activation project plans through project management platforms, such as Asana, to efficiently support our processes in strategic planning.
  • Assisting with material preparation for townhall meetings and other internal events.
  • Working in collaboration with the internal events team, manage and deliver highimpact people engagement events and deliver client event experiences and market activations in multiple formats (inperson, virtual or hybrid) and in varying scales ontime and onbudget
  • Review sponsorships & events to ensure alignment with the business strategy to move them forward.
  • Oversee the delivery of regional requirements for reporting pipeline and revenue to track the impact of marketing initiatives on pipeline, revenue and growth targets, provide status updates to leadership and deliver business enablement insights to the practice
  • Ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the local office and OMP.
  • Manage and regularly report on local activation budgets

Reporting Support for Informed Decision Making

  • Analyze revenue, sales, and pipeline data
  • Provide insights and recommendations for corrective action
  • Track and compare BD/Marketing investment to budget
  • Oversee Market Board/MSLT meetings with datadriven analysis
  • Drive modernization and innovation in reporting outputs
  • Make the most of your analytical skills to enable better decision making, uncover opportunities, and optimize perf
