Position Summary:


The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and nurturing client relationships, managing sales processes, and driving business growth within a designated portfolio of contractor accounts.

This position entails a dynamic blend of customer interaction, sales strategy implementation, and territory management to achieve set targets.

The Account Manager will actively prospect for new business opportunities within a specific geographic region, utilizing a combination of in-person visits and cold calls utilizing effective communication skills.

This role demands a strong sense of integrity, dedication, and exceptional interpersonal capabilities.


The Account Manager role requires a self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can build trust, drive sales growth, and provide exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the contractor industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Ability to thrive in a targetdriven environment and meet ambitious sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of relevant market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel to customer and contractor sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated contractor accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders and decisionmakers to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Process Oversight

  • Manage the endtoend sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and crossselling opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Prospecting and Business Development

  • Actively seek out new business prospects within the assigned geographic region.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
  • Develop compelling pitches and presentations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Enhancing sales by strategically building the basket of offerings and services within our existing client base
Territory Management

  • Effectively manage and prioritize designated territories to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct inperson visits to customer and contractor sites to build rapport and understand their unique requirements.
Customer Engagement and Support

  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as store team and home office, to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Professional Image Maintenance

  • Uphold a positive and polished image of the company while representing its products and services.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently reflecting the company's values and commitment to quality.
Performance Reporting and Analysis

  • Track and report on sales metrics, including progress towards targets, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Utilize datadriven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement

  • Promotes a culture of continuous learning and professional development by staying abreast of industry trends, market changes, and advancements in our product offerings.
  • Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and selfdirected learning to maintain a high level of product knowledge.
