We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls Analyst in Toronto, to support our Transit / Rail Program Management Team.


The Project Controls Analyst - Transit / Rail will play a crucial role in supporting the Program Delivery Group objectives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting projects and program data, effectively monitoring projects and program progress and performance, and providing insights and recommendations and improvement to the Program Delivery Group and the Program's CCO.

This resource will be working cross-functionally and provide support to the Program Controls team as required, Program Delivery Risk and Scheduling and Projects Cost functions.

Here's What You'll Need:


  • Identifying and interpreting key metrics, trends, and patterns in data to derive meaningful insights and make datadriven recommendations applicable to the Program Delivery functions.
  • Creating visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present data analysis findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner and supporting interactions with program stakeholders and program level requirements
  • Implementing dashboard rollup from Projects to Subprograms to Programs.
  • Validating monthly reporting across multiple reporting forums and channels
- cross-checking to ensure data accuracy.

  • Identifying and supporting the Program with opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Recommending improvements to existing dashboards and reporting structures.
  • Coordinating team inputs to programlevel control boards and maintaining board material.
  • Working crossfunctionally and providing support to the Program controls team as required, including administrative support, meeting minutes, and action tracking (Program Delivery Risk and Scheduling and Project Cost functions).
  • Monthly collection of data on achievements across the Program's various Projects.
  • Monthly collection of lessons learned across various Program Projects.
  • Monitoring Program Delivery Group performance against the plan.
  • Supporting Program Delivery Group work plan development and updates.
  • Coordinating the Programs Change Panel material and approvals.

Ideally, here's what you'll also have:

  • At least 5 years of project cost controls experience.
  • Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues.
  • Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or other business management related degree.
  • Primavera P6 resource and cost loading
  • Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development.
  • MS Project experience.
  • Cost estimating experience.
