- Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall architecture vision for one or more large-scale custom-build solutions.
- Experience working as a senior technical resource identifying and advocating technologies and approaches that lead to digital transformation in the public sector context.
- Experience working as a software architect designing cloud-native solutions that use development stacks and derivative technologies (e.g., Microsoft .net, Java, Python), modern web application frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Django, Spring, ASP.NET Core), and/or modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue, React) that have been launched or released.
- Experience working with other architects and/or as part of cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies through common services, reusable components and application programming interfaces (APIs), and contribute to the overall architecture practice designing and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) and system integrations.
- Experience uncovering context from systems in technical discovery and navigating projects through environments with substantial dependency on legacy systems.

TwitterFacebookGoogle+LinkedInEmailOur client requires fourteen (14) architects to lead solution architecture, guide teams in design, implementation, vision and architecture artifacts for solution delivery of user-centric services. Responsibilities include developing architectural plans, providing recommendations and prototypes for technical discovery and feasibility, ensuring target architecture is creating, leveraging common components and capabilities of other digital services. This includes providing mentorship to the product team, reviewing code changes and engaging in continuous improvement.
Work is remote; however, the resource may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in Edmonton on reasonable notice from the client. Successful resource is responsible for providing a computer and software capable of accessing client computer systems for both remote and onsite work. Some travel within Alberta MAY be required to conduct field research and user interviews. The client will make arrangements for travel for field research and user interview purposes where possible.
