    Purpose of the position

    We are currently looking for a person to fill the permanent full-time position as maintenance manager for La Résidence Château Baie-Comeau. The maintenance manager is responsible for coordinating the activities of the housekeeping attendants, managing requisitions and ensuring the guarding of the buildings at all times. He carries out various work related to the maintenance of the building and the management of maintenance and renovation projects. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :
  • Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
  • Be available to respond to emergencies
  • Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
  • Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
  • Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
  • All other related tasks
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Responsible for managing the purchase of products and materials as proscribed in the budget
  • Order materials for the construction and / or renovation of structures on the property
  • Responsible for all purchases related to maintenance
  • Act as coordinator for special projects
  • Maintain good relationships with the residents

  • High school diploma (SSD)
  • Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
