- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.
- Test all systems or components ensuring they are secure and working properly.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems.
- Watch or inspect parts such as: hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items.
- Use power tools, common hand tools and Acetylene torch and welders.
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
- 5+ years experience within the automotive industry.
- Ability to diligently organize work, make decisions, and set priorities.
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal skill
- Complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold ticket or have equivalent working experience.

Education
Preference will be given to individuals with their Interprovincial trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics (Red Seal Certification).
Compensation
$30.00 -$38.00/hr based on education and experience.
