Description

We are looking to hire a full-time, permanent driver with craning certification to operate our Flat Deck Trucks and mobile Hiab Crane when required.

Duties:

Operate and maintain trucks and Hiab cranes in a safe and efficient manner and assist with offloads as necessary
Perform preoperational inspections and routine maintenance on cranes
Lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and machinery using the crane
Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for lifting operations
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations
Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections

Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, etc.
Knowledge of proper rigging techniques and lifting procedures
Ability to read and interpret load charts
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Note:
Experience as a delivery driver and/or crane operator, is a significant plus.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$28.00-$32.00 per hour
