Purpose of Role:

This position will be in the Kinross Corporate Head Office in downtown Toronto. Kinross operates a hybrid work model.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:


Analysis of Business Requirements

  • Collaborate with the business to identify systems requirements.
  • Translate business needs and requirements into coherent functional and technical specifications.
  • Review business opportunities, and technical specifications, as well as provide advice to determine if the initiatives are feasible.
  • Create ad hoc reports responding to requests for data and analyze business procedures and problems to develop specifications.
  • Analyze data in the databases and identifies data integrity issues; implements solutions to maximize data quality and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Ensure the roadmap for Supply Chain Applications is aligned with other IT roadmaps.

Documentation of Processes and Technical Specifications

  • Assist in the preparation and update of business processes.
  • Prepare and deliver informative and wellorganized enduser training.

Troubleshooting and Systems Maintenance

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with business partners.
  • Coordinates change requests and software support requirements.

Education:


  • Recent university or college graduate with a total of 4 years of related work experience in diverse disciplines such as Supply Chain, business systems analysis, and project management;
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, or Certificate in Business Systems Analysis or Information Systems Business Analysis;
  • In the process of CBAP, CPIM, or PMP designation is an asset.

Experience:

years of Business Systems Analysis experience

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics and reporting tools, such as Reports Now, Microsoft Power BI, etc.
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Willing to actively develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently, and contribute
  • Ability to perform concurrent tasks/projects, and change priorities as applicable
