Description
The Continuing Education department of Champlain College St. Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR for the course AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (351-H13-VL).

This course will enable students to develop specific knowledge about the characteristics of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Students should be able to distinguish the characteristics specific to each level of severity of the diagnosis.


Required Qualifications:


Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a discipline related to Special Care Counselling and 2 years teaching experience.

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with an autistic clientele. Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset. This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.

The program start date could be postponed or the program could be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment in the program.

This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
