    In 2016, Paladin Security expanded into the United States under the name PalAmerican and has since experienced a period of high-growth. We are now looking for a driven individual to join our fast-growing PalAmerican finance team and be a key member of our Accounts Receivable function. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks in a busy work environment, proficiency working with ERP software and a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow their career with one of Canada's best managed companies.

    Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point-of-contact for internal and external stakeholders for all billing matters
  • Support the integration of acquisitions by setting up new customer contracts in the ERP system and addressing queries
  • Own all accounts receivable activities for assigned locations. Activities include, but are not limited to: invoice generation, credit memo issuance, billing adjustments, customer collection, reconciliations with contracts, and backup document preparation
  • Analyze monthly revenue and margin results for reasonability.
  • Update and maintain customer information maintenance in accounting system.
  • Other duties as required to meet operational needs
  • Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to problem solve, multitask, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Eager to learn and ability to apply newly acquired skills for immediate results
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Basic accounting knowledge is considered an asset
  • Salary : $42,000 - $47,000
    Location : Hybrid, mainly based in our Burnaby office
