Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the content design, development, and delivery of a digital platform to support the DCOI 2.0 project.

The incumbent is responsible to work with the project team, that specialize in design and creation of an E-learning platform, to design a tool that will impart the knowledge, tools and resources collected and designed in the original David C.

Onley Initiative project, with the specific intention of building capacity of those in post-secondary student services including career and disability offices, among others, in order to impact the employability and employment outcomes for post-secondary students with disabilities


Qualifications:


The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to synthesize information from a shared vision and communicate it effectively to others
  • Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse audience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility and accessible practices in a post-secondary student services environment
  • Experience with knowledge mobilization in an online learning environment
  • Proven ability to produce engaging and effective content including knowledge of content design tools
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management strategies with ability to produce high-quality deliverables with short deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Bilingualism is an asset

Education and Experience:


The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Bachelor's degree in an education related field
  • Minimum of four years of previous online digital content development, curriculum design and learning and development for adult learners
