    McElhanney Ltd. is seeking a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB.

    This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their design/construction engineering experience by working on bridges, bridge culverts, linear utilities, and road projects.

    55 per hour . Assist in the production of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and tender documents for municipal engineering projects.

    Take projects from preliminary concepts and sketches into engineering designs, plans, and project documentation requirements, using primarily Civil 3D, as well as other technical software as needed.

    Coordinate the preparation of documents required for regulatory approvals.
    Coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved.
    Liaise with contractor, clients/owners and affected stakeholders.
    Provide construction supervision and/or administration for municipal and land development projects.
    Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution with 0-5 years of related work experience
    Proficiency in Civil 3D Software is an asset
    Eng with APEGA is an asset
