- Adhering to all safety and environmental protection programs, policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of park grounds, including picking up litter and debris
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming grass
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Install and maintain park pageantry, including banners and decorations
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Assist with special projects and events as needed
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (non-GDL), with a minimum of one (1) year driving experience required.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Must have CSA approved steel/composite-toe work boots.
- Frequent lifting upwards of 50 lbs. with occasional lifting to 75 lbs.
- Pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching frequently.
- Exposure to dust, heat, animals and variability of seasonal climate.
- Physical and visual acuity is required.

Position Summary
Stampede Park is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Seasonal Groundskeeper/Landscaper labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces of Stampede Park, ensuring park cleanliness, and installing and maintaining park pageantry during our peak season.
