QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current Class III Forklift Operator Safety Certificate.
Minimum of two years' experience within the last four years in a hospital stores environment including transporting and storage of medical supplies and medical equipment.
Excellent knowledge of medical and surgical supplies.
Good working knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems and Inventory Control Systems is essential including the use of hand held scanning technology.
Good interpersonal and communications skills with attention for detail and accuracy.
Communication skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal directions.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid Driver's License required.
Proficient computer skills.
Knowledge of proper body mechanics to be utilized during materials handling processes.
Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, judgment and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
Consistent and regular attendance required.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
