TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES - TRAUMA/NEUROSURGERY/ICU
**New Grads will be considered**
In recognition of the shortage of qualified Trauma/Neurosurgery ICU nurses, St. Michael's Hospital is offering to sponsor nurses registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario who are interested in working in the Trauma/Neurosurgery ICU. Candidates selected to participate in this 10 week program will be provided with a conditional offer of full-time employment. To successfully complete this course, candidates must meet both academic and clinical evaluation standards. For internal candidates, successful completion of the 60 tour (450 hour) trial period is required prior to final confirmation in this role. External candidates' confirmation will be in accordance with the probation period under terms of the ONA collective agreement.

The RN shares his/her knowledge and expertise with others and contributes to the advancement of nursing practice excellence. The RN continually enhances his/her practice and competencies through ongoing learning, education, experience and reflective practice.
