The Slot Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the slot floor while providing support to the Guest Services Desk in the absence of the Manager, Cage and Guest Services.
The Slot Floor Supervisor ensures that policies and procedures are maintained while directing, evaluating, and coaching slot employees for an exceptional guest experience.
Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Will contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees while motivating, leading by example and providing a learning environment.
Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia's culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
What our Slot Supervisor Does:
- Supervises, coaches and mentors Slot Service Representatives (Guest Service Representatives in the absence of the Manager, Cage and Guest Services)
- Ensures departmental compliance with ICS, policies, procedures and all other casino regulations
- Assists the slot floor and Guest Services during all business levels
- Responsible for annual departmental goals aligned with business goals and objectives
- Leads by example and encourages employees to 'Take it to 11'
- Monitors service standards and seeks opportunities to recognize and celebrate
- Provides jackpot payouts and ensures the integrity of the casino floor
- Promotes positive guest relations by fostering VIP relationships, CONNECTING with all casino guests and exceeding guest expectations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
- Finds ways to
play; you are serious about work, without being serious in your demeanor

What Do You Need to Bring to the Table?

Embrace the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and have a playful "all about the guest" attitude:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required
- Slot Service Representative certification required paid training provided
- Gaming License is required
- Minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience is required
- Satisfactory attendance is required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to motivate others
- Proven ability to foster departmental cooperation and teamwork
- Proven effective time management and conscious attention to detail is required
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure is required
