- Revenue Operations, the incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with Departmental strategy, commitments and goals. Responsible for directing all activities related to project requirements, identifying, compiling, and analysing budget and schedule related issues. The position is responsible for assisting in the development of control policies, and standards, and ensuring quality assurance procedures are followed. Responsible for managing individual project budgets and ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
What You Will Do:
- Reviewing existing and new project scope documentation, and ensuring objectives are clearly defined and approved
- Assembling and coordinating both internal and external resources, including consultants
- Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Developing and maintaining systems, standards and procedures for projects on budget preparation and project schedules and provide guidance to staff as required
- Ensuring effective budgetary control is carried out by monitoring and analyzing performance measures of the project goals and objectives, and ensuring that investigations and reconciliations are conducted for over and under project expenditures/approvals/authorities
- Developing and maintaining systems, standards, and procedures for projects on financial/ budgetary reporting
- Presenting, reporting and defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Reviewing existing administrative procedures and practices relating to office services and developing, recommending, implementing and/or revising methods and procedures to improve efficiency
- Delegating assignments, guiding and directing work flow, and monitor results to ensure standards
- Inspiring coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
- Planning and facilitating regular team meetings and discussions
- Responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (within the area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a serviceprovider and an employer;
- Acting as a liaison with other departments for proposed changes being implemented that will affect Stations and Revenue Operations
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?: - Completion of a formal project management training course and a PMP designation or equivalent (University Degree), plus a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
- Proven experience and knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles, cost control, project and budget management
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, and project management techniques and tools
- Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
- Adaptability to accept and excel in a constantly changing environment
- Proven strategic planning, risk and change management experience
- Knowledge of scheduling practices and techniques in a project management organization;
- Selfmotivated; possess initiative and sound judgement
- Analytical and interpersonal skills, welldeveloped organizational, planning and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills;
- Proven people management, leadership and supervisory experience, with an ability to lead and influence team members
- Proficiency with financial systems, project management software, spreadsheets, database design concepts, schedules and cost analysis methods
