Position: Electrical EngineerLocation: Vaughan, ON Salary: $85,000 per yearIndustry: Manufacturing / Electronics / HVAC / EngineeringEmployment Term: Full Time / Hybrid Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Design electrical, power management, and control systems
    • Generate comprehensive electrical schematics and wiring harness drawings, along with documentation, verification, and test plans customized to meet customer and project specifications.
    • Collaborate with end customers, occasionally requiring travel, and engage with vendors to obtain technical information and specifications.
    • Assign part and drawing numbers, and create Bills of Materials (BOMs).
    • Identify necessary electrical/electronic components, connectors, and wiring for use in both new and existing products.
    • Support the fabrication of prototypes, testing, and sample production as needed.
    • Contribute to the preparation of bid/proposal documents.
    • Participate in product qualification testing and occasional travel as required.
    • Additional related duties as needed.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the electrical design, prototyping, and testing of electronic products.
    • Three years or more of experience in electrical development within automotive or related
    • Comprehensive understanding of electrical/electronic systems with a fundamental grasp of mechanical systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of components and wiring related to 12v, 24v, 48v, 320, and 800 VDC, as well as low voltage AC (120, 220, 400, 460, 575 VAC, etc.) for mobile applications.
    • Familiarity and comprehension of power electronics components.
    • Skilled in using Autocad or alternative CAD software for the drafting of electrical schematics.
    • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
