This part-time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario's Durham location in Sudbury .
Under the leadership of the Supervisor of Health & Wellness, the Wellness Coach provides direct one-on-one health and wellness assessment, program development along with wellness coaching.
The wellness coach will advise on health improvement strategies, and coaches individuals on setting and achieving health goals. 55 per hourMotivate and inspire clients to attain goals related to exercise, nutrition and stress
Build relationships with members and guests, and promote the YMCA as a charitable organization
College diploma or University degree in health, wellness and fitness field.
Minimum of three (3) months of assisting clients through health and wellness fitness plans to attain personal goals
Basic computer skills
Solid knowledge of community resources
Current Standard First Aid and CPR C
Employee and Family Assistan ce Program that includes short-term mental health supports such as counselling and online courses, and lifestyle coaching which includ es legal and financial counselling
Flexible hours and scheduling, and hybrid work options, depending on role
