The Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President Global Construction, the Vice President Construction Americas plays a key, senior role in the Global Design and Construction (GDC) organization driving strategy, policy, leadership, and direction for the design of all data center expansion projects across LATAM, North and South America.

Equally, the leader focuses on continuous improvement and innovation in design, always ensuring the industry's best-in-class and sustainable solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities:

The VP Construction Americas leads a large, complex global function that is critical to Equinix's seamless growth in the zone.

Directly controls and runs capital expenditure with $'bns of project spent and projects.
Interacts directly with Esuite, Regional MTs, Business Unit leads, joint venture partners, customers & other critical internal and external partners.
The VP is is industryfacing how Equinix fronts up and does business with its extended international supply chain and impacted communities.
The VP is responsible for a team of 3550 people (10 direct) distributed across multiple countries including outsourced providers.

Knowledge and Experience sought:

15+ years experience in data center construction
Substantial track record of running similarsized capex budgets ($bn/X hundreds millions) and span of projects (50+)
Proven success in engaging successfully with an extended international supply chain to deliver data center builds.
Solid experience in driving construction project strategy in a highgrowth environment
Strong people management experience of driving results through their a similarsized team (30+)
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a Masters or Bachelors degree preferred
Experience in presenting to and collaborating with C/Esuite level colleagues.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: - San Francisco, CA /

Bay Area:
$213,000 to $373,000 - California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $207,000 to $363,000 - Colorado, Nevada,

Rhode Island:
$197,000 to $345,000 Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
