Manager, Fraud Data Design & Integration - Nationwide
What is the opportunity?
You will contribute to the design, planning and successful delivery of fraud data requirements on all business-led and Fraud-led projects and operational change initiatives for Fraud Management, with a focus on aligning to Fraud's data strategy.
You will work closely with Fraud Strategy and Fraud Operational Support teams, and be accountable for representing the collective interests of Data Science and Analytics (DSA) as a core project team member on all initiatives.

This is a Nationwide hybrid opportunity.
What will you do?
- Represent Fraud Management's data requirements on business and Fraudled project teams, and make recommendations supporting DSA contributions on all projects and initiatives
- Provide Fraud data requirements and work closely with DSA's Detection, Data Science, and Research & Analytics teams to ensure Analytics, Machine Learning, and Reporting needs are met by project data requirements
- Manage project risks, issues, and decisions related to data requirements, ensuring proper steps are taken to mitigate, escalate, and communicate detailed updates to Senior Manager and other Fraud authorities
- Contribute to and review project documents, ensuring alignment between Business, Strategic, and Fraud data requirements, and contribute to successful project delivery by managing priorities, timelines, dependencies, critical paths and solution design
- Collaborate on project brainstorming and prioritization exercises, provide business recommendations and translate priorities into project requirements
- Contribute to project data design and planning, create and execute project test plans and contribute to launch playbooks
- Execute UAT/PIV testing for Fraud DSA use cases, create project test plans, ensuring fraud data interests are represented
- Support the project during postlaunch warranty, ensuring a seamless transition to end users, identification and resolution of production issues during warranty, tracking of issues and followup
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 2+ years' experience working with data (SQL, DB2, Teradata)
- Experience interfacing with endusers, BSAs, and developers to capture data requirements
- Strong collaboration skills to establish best practices, identify optimal technical solutions and data structure
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Experience performing data and gap analysis to identify data quality issues
- Strong understanding of Agile Project Management and familiarity with Business Process & Data Modelling
- Proven communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to effectively make recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize workload
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Hadoop data architecture
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of fraud analytics (fraud detection, ML models, Tableau reporting)
