    Manufacturing Engineer/Technician (Dauphin, MB)

    Job Summary:

    The Manufacturing Engineer/Technician is responsible for providing production with the tools and guidance to

    manufacture products that meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Provide shop floor drawings and specifications based on customer requirements

    Work with shop floor personnel to facilitate efficient production

    Communicate with customers regarding suggested design changes and technical questions

    Maintain production records in ERP software

    Design tools/fixtures to facilitate fabrication and ensure quality of production parts

    Create production processes that incorporate safety, quality and productivity

    Contribute to continuous improvement activities and special projects

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar program

    Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing environment

    Experience with CAD and ERP software

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to work independently and as a team member

    Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

    Experience with email and Microsoft Office products

    Aptitude and willingness to learn ERP software

    Present a professional image, attitude and behaviour

    Work Schedule:

    10 hours/day, Monday to Thursday (overtime as required)
