    Leggett & Platt Automotive
    Liaise quality-related activities between LPA branch and its customers with proactive interactions that may include customer visits.

    • Champion quality related escalated issues via problem solving methodologies such as Shainin Red-X, Kepner Tregoe, DMAIC, 8D, etc.
    • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Materials, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering departments the problem containment process, including internal and external sorting.
    • Investigate and research substandard test results and product defects.
    • University in an Engineering field with at least 3 years of related experience within an IATF16949 automotive manufacturing environment.
    • Solid problem solving skills using advanced statistical techniques and problem solving methodologies such as Shainin Red-X, Kepner Tregoe, DMAIC, 8D, etc.
    • Six Sigma Black Belt training with working experience preferred
    • Strong technical knowledge of electronics manufacturing with the ability to identify soldering PCBA failure modes is not mandatory but preferred
    • Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies (IPC-A 610) certification is not mandatory but preferred
