Description

Master Craftsman Warranty Ltd, a division of Carrington Group of Companies, is the exclusive warranty provider to several single family and multi family residential new home builders in North/Central Alberta.

About the Position

Reporting to the Warranty Manager, the Warranty Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of new home warranty, including correspondence and bookings of warranty appointments utilizing the company's computer-based warranty program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Book and confirm appointments for the warranty department.
Perform all data entry for the department.
Send trade work orders, create back charges where appropriate and manage all correspondence
Manage warranty technician calendars utilizing Microsoft Outlook
Create and send Purchase Orders where required for trade work determine to be nonwarranty.
Track all open files to ensure timely completion.
Delegate tasks as required to Administrative Assistant

Qualifications

Completed postsecondary diploma or certificate in Office Administration or related academic field of study.
Three (3) or more years of experience in a customer service role in the new home construction warranty environment preferred.
Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook required.
Knowledge of residential building construction and Municipal Affairs Construction Performance Guidelines, desired.
Experience using Warranty Software, such as Punchlist desired.
