MacKay's Truck & Trailer Center is growing, and we are currently seeking a permanent full-time Evening Parts Clerk to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for a 4pm-12am shift.

MacKay's is a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years experience operating full-line Truck, Trailer & Compact Equipment dealerships, with locations in Truro & Dartmouth, Nova Scotia as well as Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

MacKay's offers an hourly wage of
$20-22 (depending on experience), a comprehensive compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision, and extended health benefits, company pension (matched), three weeks vacation to start, and a boot allowance.

This position requires an individual who appreciates the high expectations of our customers and will strive to meet and exceed those standards daily.

As a Parts Clerk you will work collaboratively with both the Parts and Service Departments to balance customer needs and company demands in a deadline driven environment.

You will be entrusted to develop and achieve profitable parts and service volume and deliver quality service to our customers.

Skills:

Accountability to develop strong product and service knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and constructively with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
Able to learn new skills, computer experience is an asset.

Experience in the trucking industry is preferred; ideally within a Parts/Service Department.
