THE OPPORTUNITY:


We are currently seeking an electrical specialist to join our team as a
Electrical Division Lead Reporting directly to the Director of Projects in collaboration with the projects team you would work to fulfill electrical needs of our client buildings and facilities with fire and life safety electrical needs.


Responsibilities of the
Red Seal Electrician include:


  • Servicing and troubleshooting of AC and DC electrical circuitry and equipment relating to fire and life safety.
  • Estimating of electrical RFPs
  • Project Managing electrical projects.
  • Overseeing the electricians and development of the team
  • Pulling permits for projects
  • Preparing turnover documentation
  • Project submittals and QA/QC
  • Fire and life safety installations including but not limited to wiring and install of sprinkler compressors, fire pump controllers, emergency lighting units, assistance with fire alarm installations and wiring.
  • Electrical troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and components.
  • Commitment to continual education and training in order to deliver nextlevel service to our valued clients.
  • Commitment to staying up to date with industry standards, product and service changes, and industry best practices.
  • Provide a 'next level' experience when interacting with customers, suppliers, contractors, and team members.
  • Adhere to and embrace the companies Core Values and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Additional duties as they may arise.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:


  • Red Seal or comparable electrical certification.
  • 5 years of electrical trade experience.
  • FSR Desigination
  • Knowledge of or experience working with the BC Building Code and/or BC Fire Code preferred but not required.
  • Valid BC Drivers License (Drivers Abstract required).
  • Ability to accurately assess and troubleshoot various Life Safety systems and provide solutionbased details.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
