The Midwifery Education Program aims to be a leader in challenging institutional norms and redefining midwifery in Canada by building inclusive spaces for students, faculty, staff, and community supporters who have been systemically excluded.

We are committed to scholarly inquiry and emphasize the lifelong ability to learn and grow as individuals and as an organization.

Our approach assures the acquisition of the knowledge, skills and values needed to begin and continue to practice midwifery.

We foster inclusive and critical thinking in the academic setting that extends into the practice setting and forms the basis for sound professional practice.

Applications are invited for three part time positions, each position being for a one-year term with a workload equivalent to 0.5 FTE, at the rank of Assistant Professor (Part Time) in the Midwifery Education Program, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University.

Each appointment is at the rank of Assistant Professor (Part Time), for a term of one year (potentially renewable).
