    The Account Director position at Trader Corporation is a crucial role focused on strategic business development. The main objectives include generating new business and maintaining existing partnerships with key industry players such as Dealer Superstores, National OEMs, and Dealer Groups.

    This role involves providing leadership to Trader's sales team and clients, fostering senior-level client relationships, and serving as an expert and trusted advisor to clients. Additionally, the Account Director ensures consistent client satisfaction and overall business profitability.



    Sales/Customer Service:
    • Develops tailored sales proposals and presentations to meet individual client needs and maximize business potential.
    • Proactively identifies high-level sales opportunities to grow customer accounts.
    • Focuses on achieving customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals aligned with Trader's vision.
    • Serves as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process, anticipating risks and offering solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Provides proactive assistance and support to clients and peers, staying updated on product offerings, industry trends, and new developments.

    Account Management:
    • Completes weekly sales planner to penetrate assigned accounts and maintain client revenue base.
    • Collaborates with the Marketing team to develop sales collateral and position as a subject matter expert.
    • Contributes to Trader's market strategy by monitoring competitors and recommending new solutions.
    • Meets sales targets and objectives for all accounts, maintaining proper customer records and handling account administration.

    • Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing, or Business discipline.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of direct sales experience, preferably with national/large revenue accounts.
    • Proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales targets with a focus on intangible, media, and internet product sales.

    Technical Skills and Competencies:
    • Ability to take initiative and act on problems or opportunities without prompting.
    • Provide proactive assistance and support through mentoring and coaching.
    • Develop technical competencies to stay updated on new developments and industry knowledge.
    • Educate customers on product offerings through structured training.
    • Strong closing techniques and engaging presentation skills.
    • Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft Office and other tools.
    • Effective time and resource management along with organizational skills.
