- Advance the organization's Strategic Plan and vision for the campus of care through the delivery of quality outcomes for patients/residents and communities.
- Provide mentorship and support to achieve high-performing teams, enabling staff engagement through visible leadership, team collaboration, and effective succession planning.
- Apply financial knowledge, creativity and diligence to enable LACGH to maintain and leverage their strong financial position.
- Ensure a rigorous capital development process for the new long-term care facility, hospital renovations, and future redevelopment opportunities.
- Establish strong working relationships with key provincial bodies including the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Long-Term Care, Ontario Health, and the Ontario Long Term Care Association, to support strategic and clinical aspects of LACGH's future.
- Provide leadership for the implementation of a new Regional Hospital Information System implementation.
- Optimize opportunities for health system leadership, innovation, and achievement of improved health outcomes by actively seeking out new external relationships across the business community, universities and colleges, governments, and other regional and provincial partners.
- Actively collaborate with other providers across the Southeast region to support care for residents, patients, and communities in the region.
- Together with its community partners, enable and equip the tremendous talent and commitment of staff, physicians, volunteers, and the community in the identification and implementation of further opportunities for health system excellence.

Description
President and Chief Executive Officer
(LACGH) has a strong reputation providing the highest quality of care to the 45,000 residents of Napanee and surrounding communities. Originally built in 1966, the Hospital has continuously evolved as an organization as it seeks to imbed the core values of "Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Patient Centeredness, Innovation, Collaboration, Teamwork, Respect and Communication" into all the services they provide across the community. LACGH is embarking upon an exciting time in its history as it expands its programs and services to embrace a campus of care that will include a 128-bed long-term care facility as well as not-for-profit and private health services housed in adjacent hospital owned buildings.
The Position
The President and CEO will lead LACGH at one of the most critical periods in its history. By focusing on patients, residents, people, and partners, LACGH is poised to be a leader in meeting a range of acute and long-term care health needs of the Napanee area and its surrounding communities. The incumbent will be a highly engaged, inclusive, and strategic leader as the organization continues its journey in a complex and changing provincial health system. The President and CEO will be a partner and leader with the Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team, physicians, staff, LACGH Foundation, and volunteers, in setting priorities and leading excellence in patient/resident and family-centred care while continuing to build and expand upon community and health system partnerships.
