An exciting opportunity to be part of Vancouvers newest hotspot The Parker Rooftop, situated on the nineth floor of The Parker Hotel, (formerly known as the Vintage Park Hotel.) An exciting chance to work in a bright, trendy, but relaxed-luxurious inspired indoor lounge; complemented by three open air rooftop terraces and surrounded by amazing views of our beautiful city's skyline.

Our guests will indulge in seasonal and international inspired dishes while sipping on a tantalizing glass of champagne or one of our carefully curated and refreshing craft cocktails.


The Executive Table Group (ETG) is a renowned food and beverage group in Vancouver, BC, known for its exceptional dining experiences, premium hospitality services, and exquisite culinary offerings.

Duties:


  • Interact with guests to leave a lasting positive impression by providing exceptional
service

  • Anticipate and deliver on the needs of guests
  • Self motivated and able to tackle problems by using your exceptional organizational
skills and your commitment to the guest experience

  • Answer questions about food, cocktails, wine and beer, and be able to give
recommendations to enhance the guest experience

  • Accurately input orders through a POS system and accurately handle cash and credit
card payments

  • Assist with set up and tear down of work server stations and stocking
  • Support other restaurant tasks and colleagues as needed

Server Requirements:


  • 3+ years of serving experience
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and
work well with others in a team setting

  • Ability to execute and thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
when required

  • Familiarity with handling cash or using POS systems
  • Able to work flexible hours which may include afternoons, evenings, weekends,
weekend brunch and/or holidays

  • A positive, cando attitude with the ability to learn
  • Valid Serving it Right
  • WSET 1,2 or 3 an asset
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, and comfortable working on a patio with direct
sun exposure


Core Skills:


  • General working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine and food
  • Be passionate about learning and sharing that knowledge about food, cocktails and
wine with our guests

  • Must have a positive attitude and be guest service orientated
  • Work well and excel within a close team
  • Be accountable and willing to learn
  • Work effectively while under pressure
