WAGE RANGE:
$31.32/hr-$39.15/hr ($65,145.00-$81,432.00 annually)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

Operator in Training:

MOE certification operatorintraining (OIT) Level in water distribution, water treatment and wastewater collection or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of date of hire.

Operator Class 1 and above:

Experienced operator with 1 or more current licences in water distribution, water treatment and wastewater collection.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
Plumbing/Electrical/construction experience is a definite asset and will be given consideration towards equivalency.
Good working knowledge of water treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection operations and applicable legislation.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Training and knowledge of safety equipment and practices, including WHMIS, confined space entry, health and safety, and traffic control, and working at heights.
Valid Ontario Driver's license required. DZ driver's license considered an asset.
SCADA operation experience would be an asset.
