WAGE RANGE:
$31.32/hr-$39.15/hr ($65,145.00-$81,432.00 annually)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:


Operator in Training:

  • MOE certification operatorintraining (OIT) Level in water distribution, water treatment and wastewater collection or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of date of hire.

Operator Class 1 and above:

  • Experienced operator with 1 or more current licences in water distribution, water treatment and wastewater collection.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
  • Plumbing/Electrical/construction experience is a definite asset and will be given consideration towards equivalency.
  • Good working knowledge of water treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection operations and applicable legislation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Training and knowledge of safety equipment and practices, including WHMIS, confined space entry, health and safety, and traffic control, and working at heights.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license required. DZ driver's license considered an asset.
  • SCADA operation experience would be an asset.
