We are currently recruiting for a Program Manager, Service Solutions to join our team in either Calgary, Alberta or Toronto, Ontario.


Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate Price and Offerability request in the system, based on various inputs and opportunities such as sales leads, requests received through the Customer Response Centre, through regular, planned communication by the Program Manager directly with the Customer
  • Review open requests / cases in the system for any potential opportunities and raise Price and Offerability (P&O) requests accordingly
  • Work, in conjunction with the Program Office, to ensure that the P&O catalogs are regularly updated and current
  • Maintain regular communication with Customer key contacts and decisionmakers to 'sell' opportunities and promote the P&O catalog
  • Maintain regular communication with the Customer to acknowledge P&O requests and keep the Customer informed of progress
  • Work with the Program Office to ensure that the bid preparation in managed in a timely manner through the internal process and to confirm that the Customer requirement has been met in terms of technical requirement and response leadtime
  • Based on the P&O response prepared by Program Office, seek leadership approval to offer any variance to the proposed solution
  • Prepare and issue a commercial proposal to the Customer upon completion of the bid preparation, liaising with Legal and Contracts department as required
  • Monitor deliverables of the P&O through the execution process to ensure that Customer requirement has been achieved
  • On completion of all deliverables, ensure that timely invoicing to the Customer is completed
  • Interface and maintain clear and effective communication at all levels of the organization
  • Build effective working partnerships across functional departments and key influencers within Customer / De Havilland / suppliers to enhance the customer experience
  • Support other initiatives and projects as required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the aerospace aftermarket industry is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Has a high sense of urgency in meeting committed service levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Advanced MS Word

  • Intermediate PowerPoint
