Description

Service Parts Technical Analysts, play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the parts catalogue by effectively managing Engineering Change documents.

Expertise and attention to detail will ensure customers and service teams have access to accurate and up-to-date information about Versatile products and spare parts, ultimately contributing to a seamless and efficient service experience.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing Engineering Change documents related to product updates, improvements or modifications, and identify the impact of these changes on the existing parts catalogue.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to create detailed and comprehensive parts catalogues for our diverse range of products.
  • Regularly review and update existing parts catalogues to reflect the most current product configurations, ensuring accurate representation of parts and components breakdown.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and product specialist teams to gather necessary information and insights for maintaining an accurate parts catalogue.
  • Organize and maintain part information in databases or other relevant systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for internal teams and customers.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts book to identify and rectify any inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or missing information, ensuring the highest level of data accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of parts catalogue updates, changes, and processes to support internal knowledge sharing and compliance requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of parts catalogue management.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding parts identification, availability, pricing and compatibility inquiries.

Job Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a diploma in a twoyear mechanical discipline, or related technical field is an asset.
  • Proven experience in parts management, technical drawings, documentation, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Engineering Change Management systems and familiarity with parts catalogue software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately interpret technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Adept at problemsolving and implementing process improvements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product life cycles is a plus.
