Onboard Product Specialist - Canada Jetlines

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety, security and service standards of catering operations are observed, monitored, and practiced consistently.
- Ensure continuous improvement through the periodic review of all processes within the catering operation.
- Assist with sourcing, purchasing, and ordering of all catering product and equipment.
- Monitor and forecast catering, commissary, and alcohol inventories.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers with product forecasts and general product issues.
- Ensure ontime shipping and distribution of catering, commissary, and alcohol products.
- Manage the daily catering operation at all stations.
- Assess and resolve daily catering operational issues.
- Assist with creating and communicating galley specifications and loading logistics and ensuring they remain current.
- Liaise with internal and external partners on catering related matters.
- Perform catering facility, aircraft and safety audits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Investigate all catering OTP irregularities.
- Coordinate and monitor the catering component of our charter operation.
- Liaise with retail technology provider and caterers in the management of POS device.
- Ensure compliance of liquor and gaming laws and all liquor licences remain current.
- Update and maintain all meal level grids, boarding ratios, and catering manuals.
- Assist with planning, development, and design of menu with a focus on the customer, competitor service, market and budgetary requirements.
- Liaise with caterers and suppliers regarding changes and implementation of all menu/product.
- Organize food type trails required for new products and monitor customer and crew feedback.
- Liaise with flight attendants to ensure all flight provisioning requirements are met.
- Assist with responding to Inflight Crew reports related to catering and onboard product in a timely manner.
- Collect and analyze feedback from crew regarding catering related issues and provide trending reports.
- Track processes and procedures and communicate/train the team as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are.
This is what you've accomplished.
- One (1) year of previous airline operations experience required (e.g. airports, catering, charter operations, and airline experience).
This Is What You'll Contribute to The Team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Experience with inventory management.
- Operational knowledge/understanding of ground handling services would be an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced, teamoriented environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal/external partners.
- Exceptional organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and display a high level of initiative.
- Must be able to work irregular hours including on call on alternate weekends, and during holidays as required.
- Bilingualism (English/French/Spanish) considered an asset.
- Able to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
