Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant,KDB- Programming Language

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on a combination of long-term strategic development and shorter-term business focused development on our Fixed Income trading platform

• Gain expertise in several components of the platform

• Interface with a spectrum of technology groups, front office trading desks and strategists to gather requirements and to synthesize technology solutions to meet those business objectives

• Software design and development in compliance with software development life cycle standards

• Project planning execution and delivery into production environment

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Working experience with large time series databases and knowledge of KDB/Q

• Good to have - in-depth knowledge of C and C++ programming languages with the focus on a performant code design

• A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use

• Knowledge of modern SDLC toolset and workflows

• Experience in a software engineering / development role using kdb+/q
