Cenovus's downstream operations include upgrading, refining and marketing operations in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct material sourcing activities based on an annually agreed plan as well as adhoc or emergency requirements
  • Execute all sourcing in accordance with Cenovus's sourcing standard and the expectations/requirements of COIMS
  • Manage the supplier performance/relationship aspects of all material suppliers as designated, working closely with the Atlantic Region Business Unit and other stakeholders
  • Ensure purchase orders clearly define expectations of suppliers, quality, delivery timelines and any other requirements as deemed necessary to meet Cenovus's business requirements
  • Adhere to all regulatory sourcing requirements, in particular Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Benefits

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada 510 years' of experience in supply chain management
  • College diploma or postsecondary degree would be an asset 5 years' of experience in the oil and gas industry would be an asset
  • Experience in SAP is strongly preferred
  • Experience in ARIBA would be asset
  • Work in a fastpaced work environment with dynamically shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organization and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
