This role would be responsible for general accounting duties including general expense reporting, preparing entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account reconciliations related to a family office.
Job Duties
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist with closing month end
- Assisting with yearend audits and closings
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Provide daily management reports
- Assist in GL reconciliations and tracking of expenses
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconciliation of account receivables
- Maintain spreadsheets
- Knowledge on maintaining depreciation and or amortization schedule
- Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
- Prepare tax computations
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Account and expense reconciliations
- Review and process expense reports
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Ability to work in a family office
- Support with other administrative duties as necessary
Job Requirements
- Quick books experience
- Postsecondary education in Accounting/Finance/Business
- 23 years' progressive Accounting experience
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office
- Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Must be detailed oriented and possess analytical skills
- Must be discreet, have possess a strong work ethic
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Eager to learn, have a strong sense of urgency and the desire to contribute to the team
- Strong business acumen.
