Hiring Unit:
- Student Housing & Hospitality Services_
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, greets visitors and student clientele. Provides information concerning university activities and administrative services. Answers the telephone, processes mail, and photocopies, assembles, and files documents.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Distributes documents and assists clients in completing forms.
- Excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to multitask and clearly transmit and receive information (both verbally and in writing).
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Diverse clerical duties and any other related tasks, such as room assignment processes prior to move in weekend.
- Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an Englishlanguage university where day to day duties may require English
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Ability to work part of a team. Able to multitask. Excellent customer service.
Additional Information:
Contract will be from May 1 to September 30, 2023.
Education & Experience:
DEP (secretarial office systems)
One (1) year related experience
