The HR Advisory Services team includes HR Business Partner services and labour relations, along with organizational design, leadership coaching, talent management, progressive discipline & termination support, workforce planning, dispute resolution, and respectful workplace investigations (including but not limited to bullying, harassment, violence, and racism).

About the role

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • CHRP designation considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to the human resources field, including knowledge of specialized disciplines, such as employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, learning & development, and organizational culture.
  • Models a commitment to service and being a strategic HR business partner within a complex organization.
  • An accomplished communicator and active listener with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence within a collaborative framework.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to mentor and coach to ensure success in the workplace.
  • Solid leadership skills to take the lead on projects and assignments to address clients' HR requirements
  • Ability and willingness to perform all regular job duties and responsibilities through an Indigenous lens, with specific consideration given to cultural safety and humility.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
