Our client, a prominent independent group in the Greater Toronto Area, boasts ownership of over 10 distinguished car dealerships.

With a legacy built on excellence, they have a dynamic team of 500 employees dedicated to exceptional service and innovation.

As they continue to evolve and expand, they are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive leadership team and report directly to the CEO and Founder.

Responsibilities:

Drive operational excellence across all dealership locations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and toptier customer service.
Collaborate with the CEO and Founder on setting comprehensive goals for performance, growth strategies, and companywide initiatives.
Oversee the management of dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, finance, and administration.
Design and implement operational processes, guidelines, and best practices to optimize performance.
Lead the team of 500, promoting a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and accountability.
Engage with key stakeholders, OEM partners, and vendors to foster strong relationships and optimize business opportunities.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, identifying opportunities and threats in the market.
Develop and manage the annual operating budget in collaboration with the finance team.
Ensure all dealerships comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Implement new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a COO or in a similar senior leadership role, ideally within the automotive dealership sector.
Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage diverse operations.
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, with strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Proficient in modern dealership management systems and software.
Strategic visionary with sound analytical and problemsolving skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
Unyielding commitment to the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
