Based out of one of our office locations or out of your home office in Alberta or British Columbia, you'll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams associated with our Western Canada Offices to contribute to the environmental planning and permitting efforts of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time position which is primarily office work. Bring your enthusiasm for learning and desire to conserve our natural resources, and we'll help you grow

Here's What You'll Need:

Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology/Ecology or a related field.
Experience in environmental consulting in Western Canada, particularly oil and gas, mining, energy, or renewables.
Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
Understanding of managing budgets and schedules.
Demonstrated technical writing skills.
Time management skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects and meet project deadlines.
Great communication skills both written and verbal and willingness to be client facing to grow our planning and permitting services.
A driver's license and ability to provide a clean, 3 year driving abstract.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

Experience or knowledge of Indigenous cultural values.
Knowledge of municipal permitting requirements in the western Canadian provinces.
Experience providing regulatory advice to clients and internal teams during all stages of the project life cycle.
Hold or can obtain a Professional Designation.
Strong consideration for safety.
Positive attitude and selfmotivated, with excellent interpersonal skills suited to working with a variety of different teams.
High attention to detail and strong desire to provide high quality deliverables.
Interest in inspiring and supporting the development of others through high quality delivery for our clients.
