Position Summary:


The Operations Representative position will assist the Account Manager in the daily operations of an account, or group of accounts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling pickups through TA's TMS, tracking shipments, and communicating with carriers and suppliers.


Responsibilities:


  • The Operations Representative position is the main point of contact to the carrier and suppliers for daytoday business.
  • Schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure ontime deliveries.
  • Work with Account Manager to determine the best solution for tasks outside normal operations.
  • Utilize tools including TMS and rating system to carry out daily tasks.
  • Assist Account Manager in new account startup to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved.
  • Assist Account Manager in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly customer reports as defined by customer requirements.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and skills:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Selfdirected and good problemsolving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and can multitask.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Logistics experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must have computer proficiency and comfort navigate between multiple systems.

Pay:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M6P 2A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Call center: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • 3PL: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • Spanish (preferred)
