Summary of responsibilities:


Reporting to the Manager, Training and Certification Development, the
Analyst, Learning Systems and Data Integrity is responsible for supporting all project, reporting and data integrity activities of the Learning Management System (LMS), the X-Ray Tutor (XRT), and the CATSA User Portal (CUP).

The Analyst, Learning Systems and Data Integrity performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.


What you need to succeed

To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university in the field of Computer Science, Information Management/Technology, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position;
  • A minimum of three years of experience performing data entry, resolving data issues and ensuring data integrity;
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft SQL server database or similar relational database systems ;
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries ;
  • Knowledge of or experience in reporting, data visualization and presentation;
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets;
  • Experience troubleshooting, coordinating and conducting systems testing;

Valuable skills include:


  • Understand TCD context, direction, structure, objectives and requirements.
  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing.
  • Experience in reporting, data visualization and presentation.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide interpretation of analytics.

Specific work requirements:


  • Ability to travel as required;
  • Ability to work overtime as required;
  • Language Profile: one position is English essential;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
