Duties and responsibilities

Have a positive attitude for all aspects of equipment repairs and maintenance
Having pride and confidence in workmanship and ensuring that equipment is 100% work ready
Work on light towers, generators, and pumps
Willing to learn new products, equipment with enthusiasm
Ability to document all aspects of daytoday work i.e., work orders, parts requests, field service reports, etc.
Being a team player, helping other departments as needed
Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
Travel to customers sites to provide troubleshooting and equipment repairs as needed
Inspections, repairs, and maintenance of heavy equipment
Enjoy having different challenges and tasks everyday
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3rd or 4th year Heavy Equipment Technician with experience in pipeline and construction equipment is a must
Experience with pipeline testing equipment, excavator, dozer & sideboom knowledge is preferred
CAT and John Deer experience is preferred
Trade certificate is required
Valid Class 5 driver's license, clean driver's abstract
Ability to work well with other staff and customers
Motivated to work safely
Pride in keeping a clean and orderly work zone

Working conditions

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
Working environment is indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Travel may be necessary
Overtime and weekends may be required
Out of town work may be necessary
