EveryMind Mental Health Services is looking for a Health Information Decision Support Analyst to work with our clinical systems.
The Decision Support Analyst performs a key role in managing the organization's clinical information systems so that clinical reports and information support evidence-based decision-making, in keeping with the organization's mission, vision, values, and philosophy.
EveryMind is an accredited child and youth mental health centre that provides a continuum of high quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
Hiring Salary range - $
64,837 - $
75,850
over 5 years
Please note that hiring salaries are commensurate with experience and generally start at the beginning of the range.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall integrity of the data contained in the organization's clinical information systems.
- Develop and maintain key clinical information systems training and support documentation, and provide training and first line support to management, as needed.
- Provide ongoing support, as required, to all staff and end users of the EveryMind's clinical information systems.
- Monitor user competency and support corrective action by assisting and advising clinical management, as required.
- Perform regular internal audits of EveryMind's clinical information systems and troubleshoot and resolve day to day problems.
- Identify and report suspicious activity within the organization's clinical information systems.
- Provide 24/7 oncall coverage for the clinical information systems, in conjunction with other data/decision support staff.
- Upload clinical data from clinical information systems to ministry/other funder business intelligence solution(s) and perform regular audits of / review error reports regarding uploaded client data and ensure business intelligence errors are corrected.
- Generate and customize database reports for management and to meet ministry and other funder report requirements and other requests for information.
- Analyse data and convey system level trends to the Chief Officer, the System Management team and other system stakeholders.
- Consult and liaise with clinical management and staff to determine information and reporting requirements and attempt to meet requirements within the constraints of the organization's clinical information systems.
- Maintain knowledge of ministry/other funders' data element definitions and a thorough understanding of funder reporting requirements/key performance indicators and how they connect with agency and system performance and clinical operations.
- Translate clinical operations/information needs into technical solutions with knowledge of business intelligence tools such as SQL, MySQL, Power BI, EMHware Analytics and other reporting tools.
- Ensure all tasks completed are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards, and with the organization's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years directly related experience in data analysis.
- Demonstrated competence in dealing with large datasets.
- Strong computer software troubleshooting and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively share and present information to all stakeholders.
