About the role
We're looking for a Project Test Coordinator to join our team.

The test coordinator will be responsible for the planning, managing and execution of the test process and QA activities throughout the project lifecycle.


The Test coordinator will be required to be aware, at a high level, of the entire project scope, foresee dependencies and impediments that may hinder the overall testing progress.

Test Coordinator will require to have solid understanding of the Contact PL Program and consider subsequent project deployments and the different LCR components when defining the overall Test Plan & Strategy


What you'll do here:


  • Assist projects managers in their planning and their followup and helps them with standards and procedures.
  • Attend Planning, Demos and Agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination of projects within the specific assignment.
  • Assist in the recommendations of process improvements.
  • Document and present overall test strategy and get project, Audit and VP arrival.
  • Organize, plan and attend weekly/biweekly touch points with IT PM and different PO's to gather progress, understand risks, delays and mitigation plans.
  • Provide weekly status to reporting UM and Manager on all planning aspects of assigned project and provide recommendations.
  • Assist, organise and facilitate meetings with assigned project team.
  • Ensure all projects start and closure activities are documented and completed for audit purposes.
  • Help coordinate the testing activities on the multiple projects running in parallel.
  • Supports Manager in preparing reports and followups for various management meetings (simple to moderate projects): PMIT, Steering Committee Meeting, Directorate, Action Plans, etc.
  • Responsible to assist in the planning, managing and execution of the test process and QA activities throughout the project lifecycle.

What you bring to the table:

  • College Diploma in Computer Science, Administration or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 13 year(s) of experience in either Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, or Operational Coordination
  • Demonstrate a developed analytical mindset.
  • Must be proactive and demonstrate collaboration amongst different business units.
  • Knowledge in P & C Insurance notions and underwriting skills a (an asset)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (English) and French (an asset)
  • Knowledge JIRA (an asset);
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (an asset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to priorities assignments and manage change.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Availability to work during off hours (night and weekends)
  • Have excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Need to interact on a regular basis with an Englishspeaking clientele and colleagues across the country
  • Technical knowledge Excel advanced, Jira, Confluence
