Canadian Helicopters is a helicopter transportation service, maintenance support and flight training company.

In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.

Job Description:

Perform the complete cycle of payroll earnings, deductions, remittances, reconciliation of accounts and time sheet, yearend process, etc. ;
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations
Reconcile and maintain account balances;
Knowledge of laws in an environment under federal jurisdiction (panCanadian).
Ensure payroll procedures are compliant;
Responds to requests from government and relevant agencies when required;
Participates in the development and/or updating of company compensation policies;
Work in parallel with the team of payroll coordinators;
Be the point of contact for questions from employees and managers.
All other tasks related to payroll deployment (bimonthly).

Qualifications:

Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is an asset;
Diploma of Collegial Studies in accounting or other relevant field;
Minimum of 5 years experience in payroll processing, including 3 years in Canadian payroll or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of federal laws and regulations;
Good interdepartmental communication
Respect for confidential information, integrity, and attention to detail.
Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written)
