PAL Technical Services is currently hiring an
AME Apprentice to join our team in
St. John's, NL.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair and modification on aircraft
  • Complete work sheets for work accomplished
  • Report unserviceable maintenance equipment
  • Ensure that assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with Customer Standards
  • Carry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systems
  • Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations
  • Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
  • Complete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Must have a Transport Canadaapproved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed
  • Experience on Diamond DA20-C1, Piper Twin, Cessna single engine, or King Air is considered an asset
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, decisionmaking, organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
